    The Flower Production assistant job offers the opportunity to learn all aspects of a successful organic cut flower operation. This position, under the supervision of the Flower Production Manager, will entail helping with all aspects of our flower production program from sowing, weeding, transplanting, and harvesting, to arranging flowers. It also includes working one Farmers' Market a week.

    The ideal candidate is self-motivated, a team player, a quick learner, has good work ethic, has a passion for flowers and enthusiasm to learn.
    Qualifications: previous flower and farming experience required, detail-oriented, artistically inclined, good communication skills, customer service skills/farmers' market experience preferred, basic Spanish a plus.

    Position details:

    We are looking for an energetic, independent individual with excellent communication skills to act as Harvest Manager on our certified organic blueberry farm during the 2016 harvest season (May-August). This is a seasonal full time position, with the potential for further full time work. We are one of the longest-operating certified organic blueberry farms in California and have an established customer base and market.
