Sales Manager needed for mission-driven local produce distributor

Harvest Santa Barbara (www.harvestsantabarbara.com) sources the freshest, highest quality produce direct from area farmers and distributes to local schools, colleges, hospitals, restaurants, grocery stores, home delivery groups, and other businesses.
Responsibilities:
• Communicating with customers and producers via email, phone, and in-person
• Developing and sustaining relationships with customers and increasing sales
• Working collaboratively with the rest of Harvest Santa Barbara team
• Managing availability/price lists in collaboration with produce buyer
• Managing a wide range of administrative tasks associated with running a small business.
Qualifications:
• Extensive experience working with produce
• Able to lift a 40 lb. box
• Sales experience, preferably with a wholesale produce business
• Excellent communication skills for representing the business through emails, phone, and in-person meetings with prospective and existing customers

This position will be 40 hours per week; Some health insurance coverage available; Compensation: commensurate with experience
