Person with vegetable growing experience in commercial greenhouses required for a certified organic farm on the Big Island of Hawaii, near Pahoa town.
Crops grown in our greenhouses include tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, sweet bell peppers, and assorted herbs and companion plants. Other certified organic vegetables are being grown in outdoor gardens as well.
Knowledge and experience with vegetable growing in commercial sized greenhouses, and starting and transplanting seedlings, would be needed for this position. Experience with growing vegetables in outdoor garden beds would also be an asset.
