Can tolerate occasional dips in temp down to 24* F, and can be left in the ground all winter.
They love heat, happy with temps in 90’s-100*. Though, due to being shallow rooted they will need ample water. I dig them up every 4 years due to bulb crowding and division needs, they are prolific. I place them 6” apart, and 4 lines down our bedtops.
