We are a certified organic farm located outside Sequoia National Park. We have about 20 acres in production, 15 acres vegetables, 2 acres fruit trees and 20,000 sq/ft. greenhouse production. We are privately owned and operated for 27 years and we are looking for a farm manager for the following tasks:
Ability to schedule planting, irrigation and harvesting. Motivated and able to work side by side with other farm workers and be part of, and lead, a team. Experience operating tractors and implements and experience for minor equipment repair. Must be able to make sound decisions based on experience. As we sell at 3 farmers markets a week it would be your responsibility to make sure all pre-orders are picked and packed and ready for farmers markets and restaurants. Must be able to keep field records for certification. Spanish is a plus but not a must. We would like the right candidate to live on the farm as we will provide housing. You will communicate directly with owners who may be on or off site at various times. Compensation dependent on experience.
