Organic Manure Project
How you can participate:
Be a certified organic farm in California
Use raw or aged or untreated manure to fertilize crop fields
Grow leafy greens (lettuce, spinach, etc.) OR root vegetables (carrots or radishes) OR fruit crops (cucumbers or tomatoes)
**This study pays $700 for participating in the full two-year project.
Farms receive free reporting, including soil health assessment, soil testing and analysis of microbial populations.
Farmers also receive access to a customized online platform for farm-specific risk assessment.
Integrated Grazing Project
How you can participate:
Integrate livestock grazing and crop production or livestock grazing in orchards (fruit or nuts)
Small to medium-sized farm in California
Raise poultry & at use one of these livestock species to graze crop fields: cattle, swine or small ruminants
**Receive a free $50 gift card for this 4-month study, as well as free testing and reports.
Both studies start spring 2017
