Organic Manure Project
How you can participate:
 Be a certified organic farm in California
 Use raw or aged or untreated manure to fertilize crop fields
 Grow leafy greens (lettuce, spinach, etc.) OR root vegetables (carrots or radishes) OR fruit crops (cucumbers or tomatoes)
**This study pays $700 for participating in the full two-year project.
Farms receive free reporting, including soil health assessment, soil testing and analysis of microbial populations.
Farmers also receive access to a customized online platform for farm-specific risk assessment.
Integrated Grazing Project
How you can participate:
 Integrate livestock grazing and crop production or livestock grazing in orchards (fruit or nuts)
 Small to medium-sized farm in California
 Raise poultry & at use one of these livestock species to graze crop fields: cattle, swine or small ruminants
**Receive a free $50 gift card for this 4-month study, as well as free testing and reports.
Both studies start spring 2017
