We are looking for an energetic, independent individual with excellent communication skills to help manage harvest on our certified organic blueberry farm during the 2018 harvest season (May-August). This is a seasonal full-time position. We are one of the longest-operating certified organic blueberry farms in California and have an established customer base and market. Our farm is located in the foothills east of Chico, in Northern California.

We require a commitment of 7-8 weeks minimum for the duration of the harvest season and have limited work available before and after harvest. This position involves managing the harvest crew, quality control and logistics, driving a 2-ton truck and loading and offloading pallets. Typical work days are 5:30 am to late afternoon, 5-6 days a week for the harvest; weather conditions range from cool mornings to hot afternoons – ability to work outdoors in these conditions is a must. Farm experience and Spanish language skills are helpful. A valid driver’s license is required; no children or pets. Housing may be available. The farm is remotely located, and limited transportation to town is provided.
