Organic Farmer
Blue Sky Organic Farms is committed to the highest quality food cultivation and is known for the great care we take with our produce and employees alike. We are a 35-acre farm looking to expand. We have row crops, greenhouses, and high tunnels. Our integrity in the farming community is second to none. We believe in putting forth only the most nutritious, flavor packed, beautiful crops a buyer can find. We are committed to our local community and market as well as taking pride in being a shipper of very high-end baby leaf products.
We’re looking for an experienced organic farmer. Someone who is dedicated to their work, often working 50 plus hours per week during the prime part of our seasons (September thru June). The ideal candidate will have integrity, great attention to detail, problem solving skills, physical stamina and strength,
Requirements:
- 5 years row crop tractor experience, GPS a plus
- Knowledge of cultivation, planting, sprinkler and drip irrigation
- Organic soil fertility
- Spanish speaking a plus

The Location: The farm is located in Litchfield Park, Arizona, an area that is known historically for its cotton and alfalfa. We are centrally located to many things Arizona has to offer: 30 minutes from downtown Phoenix, 2 hours from Sedona, 2.5 hours from Flagstaff and 3.5 hours from the Grand Canyon. 5 hours from San Diego.
Salary: Salary based on experience $50,000 to $60,000 to start. Health benefits, paid time off, produce allowance, and fun. This job is open and will be filled when the right candidate is found.
