Coke Farm is a well-established organic farming, cooling and shipping company located in San Juan Bautista. We are searching for an employee who works well individually with a skill for customer-service, and an eye for detail. This job is very multi-faceted, and will include a lot of varying duties – you will be primarily responsible for maintaining our packaging inventory (including but not limited to boxes, twist ties, bands, stickers, pallets, etc.), both in the computer and physically, working with growers to fulfill their packaging needs, receiving packaging orders, and eventually ordering packaging from several companies. You will also help the receiving/shipping departments, and work with our facility director on food safety records & maintenance, as needed. This position is flexible – it will develop as you do into the areas in which you grow & show competency.
Skills and Competencies
- Must be computer literate, comfortable learning new software, and troubleshooting small technological issues
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Able to work efficiently without direct supervision
- Attention to detail, and very accurate with paperwork
- Good communication skills & customer-service orientation
- Ability to prioritize jobs & complete tasks according to importance
Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain packaging inventory, keep area clean and organized
- Fill packaging orders, help load product
- Assist with ordering material, as needed
- Offload packaging orders, receive accurately
- Assist in shipping and receiving
- Upkeep facility records, food safety paperwork, as needed

- Willing and able to work in outdoor conditions, cold temperatures and wet conditions
