Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end Organic Certified and Organic Compliant portfolio, interacting and aligning internal cross-functional teams and stakeholders to achieve business goals
- Demonstrate extensive technical understanding of Organic Certified and compliant regulations, good practices and commercialization aspects recognized internally/externally
- Work in close collaboration with Sales, Business Units and all required functions to meet deliverables in due time
- Promote the Organic portfolio to customers and internal teams, identify and develop new potential customers together with Sales and Business Units
- Portfolio management: identify gaps/needs and work with internal teams to address them
- Train and coach technical and commercial teams as well as cross-functional resources involved with Organic Flavors
- Liaise with and provide support to global teams in relevant areas, actively involved in the Organic external 'world': certification entities; Industry Associations; Expos and Trade Shows acting as an ambassador for Firmenich
- Represent Sustainability: connect with Global Sustainability, understand Firmenich programs, policies, certifications and demonstrate ability to communicate those internally and externally
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science with business experience or Marketing/Business with strong technical understanding
- 10 +years of experience in Flavors or Ingredients for Food/Beverage Industry
- Previous experience driving a category or sales territory with Organic portfolio
- Strong business acumen, customer focus
- Experience leading cross-functional teams with successful track records
- Ability to influence and mobilize people across the organization
- Collaborative, team-player, able to interact regionally and globally
- Strong communication and presentation skills, open minded, flexible, dynamic, with ability to perform in a fast paced environment
