Job Purpose
Cascadian Farm® is one of the country's leading organic food brands. The story of Cascadian Farm begins over 40 years ago on a little stretch of land next to the Skagit River in the Cascade Mountains of Washington. Today Cascadian Farm has grown far beyond our original farm. Acquired by General Mills in 2000, Cascadian Farm sells cereals, bars, frozen fruits and vegetables, spreads, and juices.

Located 40 miles East of I-5 on the North Cascades Highway, the Farm receives approximately 80 inches of rain a year with temperatures ranging from 25 – 50° F in the winter and 50 – 90° F in the summer. Crops are sold directly to the public through our seasonal farm stand and U-pick. Blueberries are also machine harvested and delivered to a local processor.

Do you value clean water, wild rivers, and healthy forests? Are you willing to lend your voice and your hands to protect fish and wildlife? Would you rather plant a tree than write a report? Are you excited to work with a team of ecologists, farmers, and entrepreneurs? If you answered yes to all of these questions, River Partners needs your help.
River Partners is a California-based nonprofit organization dedicated to the restoration and preservation of rivers and floodplain ecosystems. Over the last 18 years, our organization has restored over 8,000 acres of flood-prone farm fields into forests teeming with wildlife. In doing so, we have planted over 2 million native trees and shrubs. Our staff is committed to getting things done. Since 2010, we have purchased $33 million worth of real estate throughout California. Once we acquire property, we implement native habitat restoration that benefits target species. After restoration is complete, River Partners donates the property to State and federal land management agencies to be preserved and protected in perpetuity. We believe in achieving results that directly benefit people and the environment.
River Partners is a successful, financially stable, entrepreneurial nonprofit. We generate an average of $7 million in revenue each year by securing for-profit contracts and government grants.
